Station worker accused of theft

A Hudson woman was arrested Monday for allegedly stealing more than $500 from a Nashua gas station. Danielle LaBonte, 18, of 14 Glen Drive in Hudson, was arrested Monday morning and charged with theft by unauthorized taking, a Class B felony, according to police. LaBonte is accused of taking more than $500 in cash and merchandise from the Hess Express at 79 E. Hollis St. on Dec. 28 while she was employed as a cashier there, police said. The theft charge is punishable by up to five years in prison plus fines. LaBonte was released on $500 cash bail and will be arraigned in Nashua District Court on April 6, police said.
