Multiple charges in domestic dispute
NASHUA - A former city man is accused of trying to stab his former girlfriend and threatening to kill another person during a confrontation in her home earlier this month, police report this morning. Wayne Geddes, 55, of East Charleston, Vt., was arrested Monday afternoon on felony domestic violence charges of criminal threatening and attempted first-degree assault, and various misdemeanor charges, including assault and vandalism. Police were called to the woman’s home on Central Street shortly after 1 a.m. on July 4, they report. She told police that Geddes had tried to stab her, assaulted her and broke phones in the home, and also threatened a friend and damaged a neighbor’s car. Geddes had gone when police got there, but detectives got a warrant for his arrest after investigating that matter. Geddes was arrested Monday, and held for arraignment this morning in Nashua District Court.
