Capitol Center names interim executive director

Jane E. Berwick, a member of the Capital Center for the Arts’ founding board of trustees, has been named interim executive director of the Concord facility, filling the position left vacant when M.T. Mennino died late last year of heart failure. Berwick, of Epsom, served as the center’s board chair from 1998 to 2001. She also served as board chair of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce from 1992 to 1993 and was named the chamber’s Citizen of the Year in 2002. Her Capitol Center appointment was announced by current board chair Byron Champlin, who said it could be a year before a permanent executive director is named. “M.T.’s shoes were way too big for any one person to fill,” Berwick said. “My role will be to serve as the public face of the Capitol Center, and to support the staff in any way I can.” - NHBR STAFF Edit ModuleShow Tags
