NASHUA - Nashua police arrested a city man Wednesday morning after he allegedly tried to burglarize a house.
Moises Contreras, 24, of 41 Congress St., was arrested at 8:30 a.m. when officers responded to a residence near that address for a reported criminal trespass, police said.
The investigation led by detectives determined that Contreras had entered the nearby residence without permission and intended to commit theft, police said.
He's currently being held at the Nashua Police Department on $5,000 cash or surety bail pending an arraignment at Nashua District Court, police said.
