Eckman picked for Plaistow project, GMNBR installs new officers … and more
Austin Fairhead of Hampton has joined Raymond-based Jewett Construction Co. Inc. as project coordinator.
The town of Plaistow has selected Eckman Construction of Bedford to provide construction management services for the proposed $8.5 million addition and renovation project at the Fitzgerald Public Safety Complex on Elm Street.
The project includes a 15,500-square-foot addition, which will provide new space for the police department. The area in the existing building that is vacated by the police department will be renovated and utilized by the fire department.
The project will be presented to Plaistow voters in a warrant article at March town meeting.
G.M. Roth Design Remodeling of Nashua has won “Best Of Design” on Houzz, a platform for home remodeling and design. The design-build firm was chosen by the more than 35 million monthly unique users that comprise the Houzz community from among more than one million active home building, remodeling and design industry professionals.
Gilford-based Meridian Construction recently completed a renovation of the third floor of Concord Hospital. The project included a refresh of 12 patient rooms, one nurse's station and four non-patient rooms as well as refitting four existing patient rooms into a med room, family room and new office and storage room.
Lavallee Brensinger Architects of Manchester served as the architect for the extensive renovation.

EnviroVantage of Epping and Breathe NH are combining for a one-night fundraising event to celebrate their respective anniversaries.
The dual anniversary event will take place on Friday, Jan. 22, with a gala at The Sheraton Portsmouth. It will feature a silent auction with 100 percent of the funds raised that evening going directly to Breathe NH.
Roche Realty Group, Laconia and Meredith, has announced that Kevin Shaw produced more than $13.5 million in sales volume for 2015 – a 73 percent increase over his $7.8 million volume for 2014. Shaw was the top producer in sales and rental income for 2015 and 2014 for the company.
