Health forum panel to look at N.H. and ACA

A panel made up of experts from New Hampshire who will discuss how the Affordable Car Act will affect employers and employees in the state will be featured at NHBR's fourth annual Health Care Forum.

On hand to discuss the many aspects of the ACA that affects businesses will be:
• Lucy Hodder, chair of the Health Care Practice Group of the Concord law firm of Rath, Young & Pignatelli
• Charla Stevens, director of the Human Resources State Council of New Hampshire and litigation director for the Manchester-based law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton
• Don Pfundstein, longtime insurance and regulatory attorney with the Concord firm of Gallagher Callahan & Gartrell
• Rachel Rowe, executive director of the Granite Healthcare Network, whose members are Concord Hospital, Elliot Hospital, LRGHealthcare, Southern New Hampshire Health System and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital

Also at the Health Care Forum, Dr. Aaron Carroll, a regular contributor to CNN, will be the event's keynote speaker. He will discuss the implications of health care reform in the United States.

Presented in partnership with MVP Health Care, the forum will kick off at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord.

Tickets are $37 per person through Sept. 19, after which they will cost $42.
