Organizers say a free Small Business Resource Clinic planned for March 1 will help participants start, grow and succeed in business. A collaboration between the state Division of Economic Development, the Small Business Administration and BUZGate.org, the clinic will be presented from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at the New Hampshire Technical Institute, 31 College Drive, Concord. “New Hampshire offers a healthy business climate with a favorable tax structure, accessible and responsive government and exceptional quality of life characteristics,” said Deborah Osgood, co-founder and chief architect of BUZGate.org. “This resource clinic will deliver the facts behind these representations while also providing all attendees with take-away materials that will help them to connect with people in their local communities that will support their business progress.” The event is free and is intended to help anyone interested in pursuing a new business or already in business and looking to expand. Presentations will cover the process of navigating the free public business assistance programs available across the state and how to choose the programs that best suit particular business needs or interests. Representatives from leading small business assistance agencies will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about programs and resources that address most all aspects of launching or managing a business. “There are thousands of programs throughout the state that have been specifically created to help our citizens pursue and excel at owning their own business,” said Michael Vlacich, director of the Division of Economic Development. “Whether it’s securing funding, taking products to international markets, or connecting with a business mentor that can help take the venture to the next stage, there is a free public program that exists in New Hampshire to support their progress.” To learn more about the clinic, contact BUZGate at 658-0340 or visit BUZGate.org. - JEFF FEINGOLD
