Financial Literacy Forum set for Feb. 12
A "Forum on the Financial Literacy of NH Families and Workers" will be held Feb. 12 in Concord to bring together businesspeople from around the state to review creative ideas and proven strategies for sharing existing financial literacy and consumer information to their employees and other residents of the Granite State.
Organized by the NH Jump$tart Coalition The Forum will feature facilitated break-out sessions during which attendees will strategize on solutions for addressing financial literacy needs and provide recommendations for improving financial literacy advocacy in the Granite State.
In addition, the forum will feature presentations exploring the links between financial literacy and the overall economy as well as its impact on employee productivity.
A summary report will be prepared following the event and distributed to attendees.
Former WMUR news anchor Tiffany Eddy will moderate the forum. Additionally, Ted Beck, president and CEO of the National Endowment for Financial Education and a member of the President's Council on Financial Capability, will offer a presentation on national initiatives.
The Financial Literacy Forum will be held from 7:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. Cost to attend is $30 per person and includes breakfast, but advanced registration is required.
