VT/NH MG Seminar: The Story is Everything

Nov 1, 2013
09:30 AM until 02:30 PM

The marketing landscape has completely changed! Effectively presenting product features and benefits is essential, but no longer enough. Today's consumer expects much more!

Join us in the morning on Friday, November 1st as Jeff Ryan, founder of 19 Oaks Strategic Marketing and Sales, leads us through a discussion on how to tell your story and how you can - and must - start making all your cross-channel communications more relevant.
  • They want to know about your company: What differentiates you? What do you stand for? Why should you earn their business?
  • They want to know about your products:
What makes your products better than other choices on the market? What are the customers saying about the purchases they make from you?
  • They want it to be personal:
Your customers want to feel valued and connected with you. And when they are ready to join the conversation, they want to feel like they are speaking with a trusted friend.
We will start the morning learning how companies are rapidly recognizing that the common thread in meeting all of these challenges is to develop and share stories and to initiate conversations that set their company, products, and people apart. Learn now to create a story that will resonate with your customer!

Using the knowledge that you have gained in the morning, all attendees will engage in a hands-on project to create a story. How would your email, print, online and social media conversation speak more effectively to customers and invite them to engage with you?

Our afternoon panelists will speak to their own areas of expertise and cross-channel message writing and offer tips for immediate implementation.

We encourage you to bring (or better yet, send in advance) any communication challenges, questions, or campaigns that you wish to discuss.
