When you make a hole in the wall to hang a picture, do you use a drill, a hammer and a nail or an awl? Do you measure with a tape or a laser? Why do we try to run our businesses using yesterday’s technology? How you are approaching the operating systems and technology that governs the way you are running your business could make a big difference in better use of your time and services.
For the second year, Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce will offer a Tech Fair designed to bring the latest and greatest information to you in practical terms for ready application to your needs with support from St. Mary’s Bank. In this ever-changing climate of cutting edge technology, business owners struggle to stay focused on their business while continuously maintaining their technology and business processes.
The newest technological advances often provide heightened efficiency and ease of use, but require much attention and time in research and implementation. For this reason, many small businesses are often left behind. This event will serve as an opportunity to become familiar with and make connections for getting and staying up to date with the latest best practices, services and products.
Topics covered in the workshops include Building Strong Websites, Make Your Presentations Pop with Prezzy, Email Marketing, Blogging, LinkedIn, Operating Systems for Apple, Microsoft and Androids, Raising Your SEO and Credit Card Processing wirelessly to name just a few.
Twelve workshops are scheduled in three tracts starting at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 6. The Tech Fair will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church Education Center on Craftsman Lane in Amherst. Registration is $10 and includes coffee breaks and materials.
Reservations should be made in advance through the Chamber by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Pre-registration for individual workshops will be available and ensure you get into the sessions desired. Space is limited for some.
