The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire (ARLNH) is hosting its 2nd Annual Tick Tock - Time to Adopt Adoption Event starting on Friday, Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. until Saturday, Sept. 14th at 4 p.m. – 20 hours of adoptions!
In 2012, 53 animals were adopted during this event. “We are still almost at capacity in the shelter,” says Trish Wallis, director of shelter and community affairs. “We need to entice more people to come through the doors and this promotion was very successful last year. We are hoping for a similar outcome this year.”
Tick Tock - Time to Adopt Adoption Event gives the adopter a discount based on the time of adoption. For example, if you adopt at 2 a.m., you pay just $2 for most animals. The only exceptions are puppies and kittens which are half off. All small animals during the event are free!
“Families start to think about adoption this time of year because they are back from summer break and fall back into their familiar routines,” Wallis says. “We hope with this adoption promotion, many animals can find their forever homes.”
