The Portsmouth Farmers' Market

Buy local at the Portsmouth Farmers' Market in the parking lot outside City Hall at 1 Junkins Ave. The market runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through November 1st. Traditional fruits and veggies will be available, but also beer from 7th Settlement Brewery and hard cider from Nottingham Orchard. Sorry no free samples!

The Green Alliance, Ultra Geothermal and Get it Going are hosting a yard sale for Melissa Aho, owner of Ultra Geothermal, to raise money for medical bills following her brother Travis' diagnosis of Leukemia. The collaborative yard sale will be held Saturday, July 26th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ultra Geothermal in Barrington (just off the Lee traffic circle).
