N.E. Construction Forum readied for October
Full-day event focuses on educating construction pros
The New England Construction Forum, a full-day educational and networking event designed to meet the needs of construction and real estate development professionals, will be held Thursday, Oct. 23, in Portsmouth.
Hosted by the accounting firm of Albin, Randall & Bennett, the New England Construction Forum is designed for construction executives, construction firms, engineers, project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects and real estate developers.
The only event of its kind for the New England construction industry, it features 12 breakout sessions, in addition to a keynote address by Gregg Schoppman of FMI Corp.
Sessions will be presented by accountants, law firms, business advisory firms, human resources consultants, marketing and public relations experts, construction technology and IT providers, surety professionals and accounting software vendors.
Breakout session topics range from “Construction Accounting and Project Management: How to use the latest technology to automate your construction project,” and “Who to Hire and How Much to Pay: Update on regulations applicable to contractors and subcontractors on federally funded projects."
The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 23 at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel.
