NHBR's editors met recently at the Dartmouth Regional Technology Center in Lebanon with businesspeople involved in the Upper Valley’s vibrant technology sector.
Its focus is now primarily on its alerts app, Ping4Alerts, which alerts smartphone users when there are nearby threats to public safety, from natural disasters to crimes in progress.
Despite a 15 percent increase in revenues, Portsmouth-based Bottomline Technologies lost $7 million, or 20 cents a share, in its last quarter - a noticeable drop from the previous year's quarterly profit of $2.5 million.
PC Connection did better in 2012 than the year before, but not by much.
