Psychologically healthy workplaces to be honored

Published:

The New Hampshire Psychological Association is seeking applicants for the first Granite State Psychologically Healthy Workplace awards. The program is designed to recognize organizations that make a commitment to programs and policies that foster employee health and well-being while enhancing organizational performance and productivity, the association said. Since 1999, Psychologically Healthy Workplace Awards have been presented to organizations by state, provincial and territorial psychological associations with support from the American Psychological Association. This is the first year the award will be presented in New Hampshire. The award program highlights a variety of workplaces, large and small, profit and non-profit, in diverse geographical settings. Nominees are evaluated on their efforts in five areas: employee involvement; work-life balance; employee growth and development; health and safety; and employee recognition.
