NEC to host Senate debate

New Hampshire Business Review is among the news organizations joining with New England College in sponsoring an Oct. 11 debate between the candidates for U.S. Senate.Democrat Paul Hodes and Republican Kelly Ayotte will debate at NEC's Simon Center at noon on Oct. 11. NHBR, the Concord Monitor, WGIR radio and WMUR.com, are joining the college in sponsoring the debate.The debate will be broadcast by WGIR radio and streamed live on WMUR.com. James Pindell, political director at WMUR.com, will moderate. Questions will be prepared by a panel of journalists.Additional questions will be solicited from readers and listeners of the four media outlets. NHBR readers can send their questions to editor@nhbr.comAttendance at the debate is limited and must be reserved in advance by e-mailing CivicEngagement@nec.edu. Five minutes before the debate begins, all remaining seats will be released to those waiting at the door.
