Purchasing group chooses iCAD for mammography

Published:

iCAD Incorporated has signed a two-year agreement with the HealthTrust Purchasing Group to provide preferred pricing on its CAD mammography systems to group members. According to the Nashua-based firm, iCAD’s SecondLook film-based mammographic CAD solutions and the TotalLook system, which converts film mammograms to digital images, have the potential to detect findings that might otherwise be overlooked during the review process. Clinical trials demonstrated that iCAD’s systems could detect up to 68 percent of actionable missed breast cancers an average of 15 months earlier than screening mammography alone. HealthTrust, headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn., has over 1,500 members across the nation, including seven in New Hampshire. — CINDY KIBBE Edit ModuleShow Tags
